“Experience You Can Count On”
Here are some pointers that will help you make a good choice in selecting a real estate agent that’s right for you:
Speak to at least two or three different agents before selecting one. When you contact any agent, remember to ask -- Does the agent customarily sell property of a type similar to yours?
Is the agent’s company well known and respected?
Does the company advertise consistently? (Ask to see samples of the type of advertising and promotion you can expect to receive)
Does the agent hold additional certification such as Realtor®, e-PRO and GRI, which indicate that the agent has received special training?
Can the agent provide a list of satisfied customers and recent sales?
Can the agent provide a “CMA” or comparative market analysis of the property’s current value based on recent comparable property sales?
Finally, are you “comfortable” with the agent? Is it someone with experience, knowledge and a willingness to go the extra mile for you?
